Helping Home Educators in Times of Need
The CHAP Foundation’s mission is to provide assistance to homeschooling families. Some ways the Foundation is currently at work are: providing grants to families in need, working to preserve parental freedoms, promoting homeschooling, and supporting like-minded organizations. Additional ways to fulfill the CHAP Foundation mission statement might come to light in the future as the needs of home educators come to light.
How it Functions and How to Take Part:
In its short history, the CHAP Foundation has assisted homeschoolers facing the challenges of beginning homeschooling, medical needs and emergency situations.
As available funds grow and multiply through the generous donations of individuals and companies, the CHAP Foundation will be helping more and more homeschoolers as God provides.
On occasion, the CHAP Foundation works hand and hand with HSLDA’s Home School Foundation, a national organization, to provide assistance to homeschoolers in a variety of challenging situations. HSLDA also assists the CHAP Foundation with the application process.
All donations are tax deductible and are used to help families who are committed to Christ centered, parent directed, privately funded home based discipleship and homeschooling.
We encourage you to pray that God would use the CHAP Foundation to bless homeschool families in the future.
